Kromede’s Trial.

Fake stigmas and some trapped souls… I had a rather confusing, tiring evening. I lived someone else’s memory in a strange, dream sequence. It was so unsettling. I was a woman. (Needless to say, I was most alarmed when I noticed I was in a tight bra and panties.) My body was tall, extremely thin and with no real assets to speak of. I felt so fucking fragile. Moreso than usual. I was literally a stick!

Anyway. It turned out that I was a woman named Kromede. I met her a few times down in the Fire Temple, actually. So I know she’s a real person. I stole her spellbook. (I don’t remember her being that skinny, though.)

But that’s kinda irrelevant. It was an awful dream. As Kromede, I was imprisoned, but I escaped and proceeded to kill every guard in the dungeon. Then I discovered the other prisoners. They didn’t even bother trying to escape when I opened the bars. It was… pathetic. I dislike seeing such a number of humans go to waste like that. There are so many other things they could be used for rather than just sitting there in a cell and rotting. Sigh. But, as Kromede, I killed all the prisoners too.

I still hate killing, even if seeing death doesn’t phase me any more. When I stumbled onto Robstin’s tortured body, my first instinct was to examine it. I had no emotional connection to it at all. Kromede felt anger and sadness, of course. But, nope, mere curiosity called me instead. Too bad it was just a dream and my findings were useless.

But later on, I was glad it all was a dream. After I got out of the prison, I made my way into the manor. It was crawling with armed servants. Servants which all attacked me on sight. It was awful. When more than one noticed me, I was easily over powered. When I tried to run away, they kept up the chase. In such a fragile form, I ended up dying several times over.

Hate it.

I couldn’t escape it.

It felt so real. I was trapped in there, trying to hide and not get shot at. I couldn’t wake up and the dream felt like it lasted forever.

But, thankfully, it did end… and awaking in the snow never felt more welcoming.
